Shercon Resort and Ecology Park

Not really a fan of dating in a fancy restaurant, but rather a sucker for good adventures. That is why our plan for this year valentines was to visit one of the most popular resort in Social Media, Shercon Resort and Ecology Park located at Brgy. San Sebastian, Mataas na kahoy, Batangas. For only two and a half hours of drive from Metro Manila you can now have your ultimate break from your busy life to unwind and to relax your mind, body, and soul!

Upon arriving, we went straight to the registration area. We paid for the entrance fee and were asked to choose from the Cabanas. Lowest rate would be ₱800.00 which is expensive if you are only two people availing. Better bring your friends because it could accommodate 10 to 15 people already.

Better make a reservation whether you’re coming on a day tour or overnight. Only a few choices were given to us because we were told that the cabanas were reserved already. Upon staying the whole day, we saw that nobody even occupied it!

Shercon Resort currently has a six pools and it is progressively developing with a new design. What I’m looking forward to see is the six pocket pool. I swear it’s even better when you look at it after your own eyes than on pictures!

Get yourself ready because water from the pool is freezing. We only stayed for 5 minutes, and we couldn’t bear it already.

(P.S: Picture muna bago sitahin nung guard)

What amazes me the most is the fact that you can see Taal Lake on a closer view on one of their infinity swimming pools. But again, the problem is that the water is too cold!

Too bad we weren’t able to see everything because the place is so huge. You’ll eventually get tired from walking but you have an option to jump on the minibus and it will lead you to your destination. However, waiting takes forever before they arrive!

They also have Function halls for any events and recreational activities that are ideal for Team Building.

They have a Basketball Court, Zipline, Rappelling, Paint Ball and Wall Maze and the whole place is big enough to accommodate a large group of people.

Their restaurant also offers good food with unlimited coffee. Lowest price for their food would be ₱150.00. We ordered tapa with egg, and it was served right away.

Note: Going to Shercon Ecology Resort could be quite expensive if you’re only two people traveling. Below is a travel guide for a group of 8 to be able to achieve the ₱600.00 budget.
